chapter 1

Another day has come to the three detectives of clamp but what happens when they only have one month to slove a mystery with limited clues?

After classes all the students were coming out of their classroom for a break. At the Student's Council Office, Nokoru was tied to his chair by Suoh.

"Souh" Immonoyama groaned. "Untie me this instance!" He demmanded.

"I'm sorry Kaichou but you have to finish your paper work if you want to be untied" Suoh said filing some papers.

"Come on Suoh, I need a break" Nokoru pleaded

"No" Suoh said flatly. A knock was heard at the door then Akira Ijuin came in with some snacks on his cart.

"Kaichou, Takamura-senpai I brought some tea and snacks maybe we could take a little break?" Akira said smiling innocently.

"All right! Now's the time for a break!" Nokoru rejoiced then noticed that Takamura and Ijuin was already snacking and he was still tied to his chair. "Suoh! untie me this instant!" He demanded. Suoh chukkled.

"I thought I genius can break free easily with a bow tie"

"What? You mean I could have escaped earlier?" Nokoru said looking at the knot. But even before anyone could speak another word there was a light knock on the door. Ijuin opened the door and welcomed a girl older than the three.

"Hello how can we help you?" Akira asked taking her coat. The girl looked beautiful.

"How we may help a beautifull woman like yourself?" Nokoru asked bowing to her. She just shook her head then began to speak.

"Can you accept my offer?" She said mysteriously.

After a few minutes the girl stated her problem to the 3 clamp campus detectives.

"First of all I want to introduse myself. My name is Minoto Fujisaka" She stood up then bowed introducing herself politely. Nokoru took her hand thenkissed it like a true gentleman he has been for years. "As I said before I'm offering you a challenge." She said helping herself from the snack cart.

"Challenge you say?" Nokoru said interested.

"You heard correct" She pulled out a fan that says 'Jackpot' and hid her lower part of her face.

"What kind of challenge is this may I ask?" Suoh asked suspiciously. Minoto smiled behind her fan then closed it revealing her smiling face again.

"A puzzle game of course" She said walking towards the window. She looked outside "You will gather important parts and clues in different parts of this school and another school you will find out" She said turning her head to face them. Nokoru was now pretty excited but retained his posture.

"What will we be looking for then?" Akira asked handing her some cake. She took the cake and thanked Akira.

"Not what my dear who is the question here" She said mysteriously.

"Then who do you want us to find?" Takamura asked taking a step forward.

"Don't you see Suoh? That is the real challenge" Nokoru said flipping his fan open and which now says 'Challenge' "Ms Minoto Fujisaki, we gladly accept" Immonoyama said bowing.

"I'm glad to hear that, yes and by the way you only have a month" She said.

"This seems interesting" Nokoru said flipping back his fan.

"I'm glad you think of it that way too" Minoto said covering half of her face with the fan. Nokoru and Minoto laughed together like there was a new toy that they bought and can't wait to play with it. "hem-hem" Suoh interfered. The two stopped laughing then looked up to him. "Senpai can I have a word?" Suoh asked.

"Of course" Nokoru said still seated.

"Privately" Suoh added exasperated. "Kaichou you can't just accept a mission like that" Suoh scoled quietly because Ms. Minoto might hear them.

"Why? We haven't had any cases for the last few weeks so I figured why not?" Nokoru stated cheerfully. "And besides this seems interesting" Nokoru said flipping open his fan that says 'Relax"

"Sumimasen are you Kaichou Takamura-senpai would you like another cake?" Ijuin said popping out of nowhere. Suoh jumped a little but Nokoru remained in his position unstartled.

"Oh yes, and can you bring me some chocolate parfait Akira?" cat ears plopped on Nokoru's head out of nowhere.

"Oh no, his sweet tooth is getting on the way of work again" Suoh thought massaging his temples. He looked at Ms Fuisaka's direction then stared at her suspiciously. Minoto faced his direction then smiled at him. Suoh quickly looked away.

"Kaichou are you sure we can trust her?" Suoh whispered to Nokoru.

"Of course we can, remember Suoh we are the clamp campus detectives and our mission is to help women in need!" Nokoru said dramatically. Akira clapped his hands and so did Minoto. "Thank you" Nokoru said bowing.

"I must get going now" Ms. Fujisaka said standing up. "Oh, and one more thing your first clue is within the grasps of the cherry blossoms" She walked out of the door and closed it leaving the three detectives pounding on their thoughts.

"Kaichou" Akira started. "What does she mean by 'within the cherry blossoms'?

"To tell you the trruth Akira I have no clue" Nokoru sighed.

"Senpai why don't we start at the gerden, there are some cherry blossom trees there" Suoh suggested.

"Good idea Suoh"

At the Clamp school garden the 3 detectives already started the search for the first clue but lady luck wasn't on their side yet.

"Any luck with you Suoh?" Nokoru asked.

"No, you Ijuin?" Suoh asked.

"Gomen, I can't find anything" Akira answered. "Kaichou maybe she meant the cherry blossoms at the sidewalk" Akira suggested cheerfully.

"Sorry Akira, I let Suoh check those but there was none" Nokoru said shaking his head. He stood there quietly trying to think both Akira and Suoh were watching him and also thinking with him.

"AAAHH, I can't think I'm fresh out of ideas." Nokoru scratched his head. "Maybe we should take a break"He flipped his fan that now says 'Tea time'

The three was drinking some tea and discussing the mission that had been brought to them.

"Kaichou, how can we find the first clue? We already looked everywhere we could find a cherry blosom tree" Akira said with a tone of disapointment

Meanwhile the Director and Ms. Minoto Fujisaka was seated in the clamp clock tower also dringking tea.

"Madam are you sure we should give them this test?" Ms. Minoto asked sipping from her tea.

"Of course Minoto, and besides I want to see how well they do on cases with limeted clues" The director said covering her face with her fan.

"As you say My dear cousin" Minoto said walking towards the window to see the 3 detectives.

Nokoru Suoh and Akira was now coninuing their search for their first clue. The day was geting late and later.

"Senpai I think we should continue this search tomerrow it is getting dark" Suoh suggested.

You're right we should get some rest. Then I'll see you tomorrow" Nokoru said heading a different direction from the two.

"Ja-ne" Akira said joyfully while Suoh just waved his hand. Nokoru waved his hand energetically then walked towards home.

At home Nokoru was still thinking about the riddle that Minoto left them.
"Lies within the grasps of the cherry blossom... What does she mean by" Then it hit him "grasps of the cherry blossom! I got it!" He exclaimed.

The next day Nokoru hurried to the grade school clamp office then slammed the door open. Suoh and Akira was already there surprised to see their senpai.

"Senpai, what are you doing here this early?" Suoh said surprised.

"I figured it out." Nokoru said.

"Nani?" Akira asked confused.

"Clamp campus detectives we have an apointment with the registrars office" Nokoru said flipping his fan covering the screen Me: I know, I know I'm weird
